My Top 3 Favorite Yankee Candles!
I LOVE Yankee Candle! I could literally spend hours in 1 store and just huff everything!!! I wanted to share my top 3 favorite scents of all time. I find them to be very soothing when burned while working on photos!
1. LEATHER! To me, this candle couldn’t get anymore authentic. This scent reminds me of my mothers leather purses that she had when I was a child (I guess because I was about “purse height” lol). I also own the car freshener & spray of this scent. I usually find this candle on the shelf with all the random scents. I think this is a smell even a vegan could love (…maybe) LOL!
2. SUN & SAND! I looooooooooove the smell of Coppertone Sunblock. When I was a kid (hmmm, starting to notice a pattern here, lol) every time we went to the beach, I’d have Coppertone sunblock on. According to Pavlov, I was Classically Conditioned to associate the scent of Coppertone with the Beach (apparently, Yankee Candle knew this) & created this candle for me to be forever HOOKED on! I love it so much I own the Kohl’s version, “Sandcastle” (different name, same scent)!
3. SWEET STRAWBERRY! If I had to choose only 1 candle, it would definitely be Sweet Strawberry! I HIGHLY recommend this candle; it is outrageously fragrant when burned. Besides, who doesn’t like strawberries?!?!?!
I like many others, but these 3 never disappointed me. It’s amazing how the color and the PHOTOGRAPHY on the jar influences your opinion of the candle. If all Yankee Candles were white & had a plain text label, would they still smell so good?

I used to have the yankee leather candle as a car freshner scent and always loved it!
I have never heard of one called leather. How cool is that!? And I have to say, anything scented like strawberry delights me. Must be back to my strawberry shortcake doll from childhood.
I LOVE yankee candles! My favoriate currently is the Vanilla Cupcake…. It reminds me of the smell when my mom would bake cupcakes growing up 🙂
I have a leather car freshener and it’s to die for. I love these candles. My husband loves them because when they melt, I can’t play with them like a regular candle. I like to push back all the soft candle top part into a smooth surface and have spilt hot wax on carpets in two of our houses. He loves the glass jar because I can’t do that with these!
I know all about these from working retail. lol! I maybe a guy but I like the sweet smelling ones the best. lol.
